At Bullwell Bus Station we designed a gullwing bus shelter incorporating Prima
Seating and solar powered LED lighting.
The new Pioneer Shelter
The Pioneer Shelter is the most recent addition to our portfolio of modular
waiting shelters developed from the bespoke range of platform furniture
designed and manufactured for HS1.
The Pioneer Shelter is a very robust modular shelter with a number of flexible
design features:
- The modular core structure is available in a variety of materials and finishes
- There are a variety of glazing configurations and materials and an internal ceiling is provided within the shelter
- A mono pitch roof which can facilitate drainage to either side of the shelter
- The shelter configuration is future proofed to enable the seamless integration of Customer Information Systems as requiredA variety of seating options to ensure passenger comfort for all
We are currently completing a major shelter refurbishment programme for a TOC
delivering the Pioneer Shelter with a 316L (marine grade) stainless steel core
structure, 10mm clear toughened glass and composite panel glazing in a in a
rebated frame with amid rail. This Pioneer shelter specification delivers a very
robust shelter with a design life of 35 years.
