Bespoke Bus Shelter Island Stops for Milton Keynes

04 October 2012
The bespoke bus shelter island stops, designed, manufactured and installed by Macemain + Amstad, form part of the recent development of 'Station Sqaure' the main gateway into Milton Keynes.

The bus shelter island stops are each 60m long and 3m wide and comprise a stainless steel portal frame, tab fixed toughened glass and polycarbonate roof with LED lighting, real time information and Prima timber perch seating. The strong design themes of the bus shelters are also reflected in the bespoke canopies Macemain designed to cover the dedicated cycle parking area.

Milton Keynes Council and its stakeholders were able to work in partnership with Macemain + Amstad to develop their concept designs and requirements for new passenger shelters in Station Sqaure into a deliverable solution. Milton Keynes Council received an 'end to end' service from Macemain + Amstad whereby we managed all aspects of the project thereby optimising our ability to deliver the Council's requirements throughout the project in as efficient manner as possible.

Milton Keynes had the confidence they would receive a quality product and service and that the project would be completed on time and within budget.

Please give us a call to discuss your projects requirements.
